Hello from Nicosia, Cyprus!

It is Saturday morning and I have officially been here for over a day! There were a few bumps along the way but almost everything went smoothly while traveling, and I met many wonderful people on the way! It is so enjoyable meeting people from all sorts of different places. Everyone has a different story to tell and I truly love listening to them!

My first day here began by meeting my wonderful new roommate, Jessica. We already get along so great and she is such a special person! She is definitely an answer to prayer, as this is my first time out of the country completely on my own, while she is from Colorado but attends college in Switzerland! How cool is that?!

We were invited by other students in the GLS program to go out to breakfast. We rounded up all 18 of us who were here and set out to a little crepe restaurant. They were delicious!! The rest of the day was spent grocery shopping and getting organized. I love our apartment! I had a short orientation at night, but the extensive one is today. Last night was spent going out for Friday night Karaoke at a local place right by our apartment! Lots of laughter and fun while getting to know everyone. Well now off to orientation. More to come later... and with pictures!
